Flavours of lemon, grapefruit peel and white flowers are complemented by saline, seashell-like and mineral notes. Vibrant acidity brings both complexity and structure to the palate. A refreshing lemon-like brightness unfolds, gently enveloped by the rounded richness of pear.
Subtle herbal nuances reminiscent of chamomile emerge, adding a calming depth and further dimension to the wine. Though the fruit expression is restrained, layers of savoury umami gradually build drawing the palate in with quiet persistence.

Folium vineyard is one of the smallest wineries <6 hectare> in Marlborough region. The annual production is around 3,000 cases only. The winery owner, Takaki Okada, is originally from Japan and he has been focusing on dry farming and organic vineyard management since 2010. His intention is always making unique wines each vintage different from his neighborhood as a boutique winery.
