Folium

Folium vineyard is one of the smallest wineries <6 hectare> in Marlborough region. The annual production is around 3,000 cases only. The winery owner, Takaki Okada, is originally from Japan and he has been focusing on dry farming and organic vineyard management since 2010. His intention is always making unique wines each vintage different from his neighborhood as a boutique winery.

I'm Takaki Okada from Folium Vineyard. I'm originally from Japan, I've been in New Zealand since 2003, and have been involved in wine production for about 20 years. We founded Folium Vineyard in the Marlborough, New Zealand in 2011, and producing Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir.

Irrigation is essential to grow grapes in Marlborough, however Folium decided to produce wine without irrigation. We believe this will help to emphasize the beauty of mother nature, and make our wine very special and unique.

We produce wines with clean acidity, and I hope everyone in Singapore can feel the fresh breeze of New Zealand through our wines.
