From the very beginning, Lodi was planted with thousands of acres of Zinfandel and were a valuable piece of California's new wine industry in the latter 1800's. These old, gnarled Zinfandel vines give us the intense, vibrant fruit character for which Lodi Zinfandels have become famous. OZV is one of the fastest growing Zinfandel in America and uses 50-80 year old, post-Prohibition Old Vine Zinfandel.
