Made from 100% Chardonnay grown by the farmer Mr.Ryoichi Ohura.
Ohura family, renowned masters of grape growing, has passed down exceptional skills through three generations — grandfather, father and son. Their craftsmanship echoes the tradition of Yamagata’s historic swordsmiths whose techniques were used to forge Western-style pruning shears. The label depicts three pruning shears, symbolizing the skills and knowledge handed down through these three generations. The wine name “Les Trois Ciseaux” means “three pruning shears” in French.
On the nose, a toasty aroma appears immediately upon pouring, followed by delicate notes of sweet honey. The palate offers rich fruit concentration with a smooth texture and gentle, cool-climate acidity, beautifully balanced with the depth of fully ripened grapes. The result is an elegant white wine with remarkable finesse and complexity.
