Fresh and approachable, with bright strawberry and red berry aromas typical of Muscat Bailey A. The palate is juicy and well-balanced, showing lively acidity and soft, supple tannins, leading to a smooth, gentle finish. Best enjoyed slightly chilled, which enhances its fresh fruit character and refreshing acidity.

Made from Muscat Bailey A grown in Yamanashi and fermented in Lumiere’s historic granite Ishigura fermentation tanks, built in 1901 and designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.

About Lumiere

Established in 1885, Lumiere is a family-owned winery continuously operating for 130 years in Yamanashi prefecture where it is the most famous and historical region for Japan's wine production. The current CEO, Mr. Shigeki Kida, used to be an engineer before joining the wine industry. Based on his experience as an engineer and business person, he has been investing in winery equipment, especially for sparkling wines. Today, their Koshu sparkling has a great reputation in Japan.
