About Izutsu
Izutsu winery is located in Shiojiri city, Nagano prefecture. They focus on Concord and Niagara grapes; the grapes used are originally for eating, so the wine will be very fruity, fresh, and have an easy / early drinking style.
Concord grape. Medium dry red with gentle acidity and astringency. It has fresh and fruity flavours, and aromas like strawberries and blueberries. Less astringency (tannin).
