2021 was a great year but Nebbiolo had relatively high tannins, so Merlot 38% was added to soften and balanceThe wine displays an opulent aroma of black fruits such as plum and cassis, layered with red fruit notes of raspberry and cherry, complemented by hints of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful, offering rich, concentrated fruit flavours with complex nuances of vanilla. Supple, well-integrated tannins and bright, refreshing acidity provide structure and balance, leading to a long, elegant finish.

In 1890, the founder, Mr. Jisaku Omura has established a small winery in the garden in front of his house. Since then, 4th generation of Mr. Omura has been dedicated to winemaking. He aims to make world class Japanese wines from traditional grape varieties such as Koshu and Muscat Bailey A. They are considered as a boutique winery, but one of the pionners of Koshu Sur Lie style.
