Cherry-red in color with raspberry-colored borders and medium intensity. This year the wine shows a complex range of aromas including fruit like blueberry, black cherry, blackberry, and fig, floral notes of lavender and violet, to hints of spice like sweet tobacco, cedar, and licorice. The palate is juicy and friendly with a creamy texture.

This very versatile wine can be enjoyed with both sophisticated and simple dishes. Ideal to pair with red or white meat with either black pepper, Roquefort, or garlic butter sauce. There is also space for spicy foods like Indian, Mexican, or vegetarian dishes with mushrooms, bell peppers, potatoes, eggplant, or legumes.
